ATEC organizes and handles all sizes of auctions, from minimal pieces of inventory or machinery & equipment, to large facilities that require a multi-day auction. ATEC has a history of conducting hundreds of successful, highly attended, and profitable auctions. The key to this success is our ability to organize and structure our auctions, and our targeted advertising campaigns. ATEC’s experience in attracting the widest range of potential customers are the result of utilizing a wide-range of media, extensive public informational mailers (including the use of our own Internet web site), and contacting our established database of past customers and users in a variety of industries.

ATEC provides a myriad of auction services using several auction platforms. Recognizing that there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution, each sale strategy is tailored to the specific needs of the client. By evaluating factors such as asset composition, timeframe, location, market demands, and sale expenses, we formulate an auction solution designed to generate the highest possible proceeds.

Our primary auction services include:

  • Live Auctions – This is the auction in its most traditional sense of the word. Properly advertised and open to the public, the items are brought to the auction block and presented for sale to the highest bidder. Live auctions are best suited for any mix of assets when the location and timeframe are not limiting factors.

  • Timed Online Auctions – This strategy minimizes the impact of selling from more remote geographic regions and allows us to bring items to the marketplace very quickly. Depending on market factors, the sale period can last from three to thirty days, during which the marketing effort never stops. These sales have a tendency to develop a live auction “feel” with the majority of the bidding action taking place right at closing time. We utilize a dynamic closing process which allows a time extension if bids are placed at the last moment before scheduled closing. This process ensures that every willing bidder has a chance to win the item and every client realizes the highest possible sale price.

  • Live & Webcast Auctions – Live auctions with online bidding achieve the most expansive reach. By bringing the onsite and online bidders together in the same bidding arena we thereby increase the bidding activity. This combination approach requires additional time and resources but the sales suited to this style benefit tremendously from the effort. These sales are ideally suited to high value, widely marketable items where the time and location factors are of a lower priority. Taking the live auction global via the internet is becoming the norm in many industry markets.
